Zélé December Sidewalk Poem

You have no idea . .
You were once a star
And within your soul
You still are,
Or I’m told
Or I thought.
Had I forgotten?
Yes, I am a star
Like the star from Babylon of old
You guide me across the deserts of my soul
These days
And always
Be prepared for the “ah” of surprise
When angels and brimstone rain from the skies.
