Sonnet 32

May you find me finding you while you turn,
Catching a glimpse of the light left behind,
So I might see shadows from which to learn
The mere surface of the depths of your mind.

Where thoughts are allowed to hover and melt,
Change shapes and moods and find a virgin form,
To shudder with a feeling first time felt
And rest in peace in the eye of the storm.

When the turning begins I will be there,
As you were for me when turning began,
For it is a sight most special and rare
And unfolds as simple as any plan.

May your next turning find me finding you
Finding another way to show what’s true.
