Betrayal

Sick and twisted,
a blessing in disguise.
Trust broken only to
reveal the ugly face of reality,
yet beautiful enough to know
doors opening to offer
a gift much greater than
the evil of a friend
saying goodbye for
no other reason
than you are not good enough
to be my friend.
Indeed no excuse at all....
for friendship as love is etched
in the Heavens above.
