Allure of the Sun

That outward force of light
Has become all my eyes can see –
That directing motion – influence –
Without explanation – without a name –
And the gravity pulls
At that place behind my soul.

I could have felt you across the
Universe.  But what I feel is
Unknown in any fundamental way,
Only in the how it behaves –
In all directions – existence –
And infinite distance.
