Ron is a retired irrigation farmer and developer from the Murrimbidgee Valley in Australia. This is a region similar to the Imperial Valley in California.
Ron’s earliest memories go back to listening to poetry around the fireplace in a humble farm home on cold winters nights. A recuring theme through these poems was the need to pass land on to the next generation in better shape than at present.
Appreciation of our environment is not new, it has been keenly recognised for generations.
Ron has been involved in public apeaking and poetry writing for many years, but now has more time to indulge his passion.
